I had to move a mattress for my mom earlier and my cap was off. I went to a car meet tonight and when I got home, my liner was gone. I mustve taken a corner too fast. I went back and retraced my steps twice and couldnt find even a piece of it (I hope its still in one piece). If the Colorado Oppos were to spot it, my route home from the car meet (It was at Wooly Mammoth Parking Lot) was I70 to 285. If you drive that route often, please keep an eye out. If not, does anybody know where I can get a new one for relatively cheap? Or If someone here with a ranger is willing to sell me theirs. I'm willing to buy used. And Ive checked craigslist already, nothing.

PS- If its okay with the mods, I'd like to repost this a few times tomorrow. If its not just tell me in the comments. Nevermind, No need to do that anymore. I seem to have figured things out. This whole thing has me a bit shaken though. Thanks Oppo for being there.

UPDATE 1: I found !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! liner that fits my truck, its $137+ free in store pickup. Thats a reasonable price. I cant afford it right now, but I could make enough in 2 weeks if I work enough to pay for it. I'm gonna try and see if my parents could give me a loan to buy it. I'll ask in the morning. It sucks being broke.

get a rollin-in. I paid $75 on amazon for a hurculiner kit. The plastic ones I hear can get stuff caught under them and rust.

I actually have the receipt for my (Now missing) bed liner. It was purchased in 1994 and I have absolutely no rust in my truck (except for a spot where the PO side swiped something. Paint is chipping off the bed side and its starting to acquire some surface rust). I thought about hurculiner, but I want something insulating so I dont burn myself on my bed (I sometimes take naps in my truck in my school's parking garage in between classes). The scary part is I had 2 ratchet straps in the bed that are now gone. I hope no one's car gets/got damaged by them..... Wherever they ended up.

i second the paint on type. the drop in liners will always be moving around and it will eventually rub the paint off. The paint on stuff is a good protector for the bed. Obviously the professionally applied stuff is better but thats $$. I used to work at a place that sprayed them. One year a kid had a secret santa type thing and sprayed the present after he had wrapped it. I guess it took most of the xmas party for the other dude to get into the present.

I would if I didnt need something insulating. Im in the bed alot and I'd rather not burn myself

Truck sits in sun... Bed is metal... Metal gets hot. Plastic doesnt get hot... painted metal does

o ok. i didn;t think they'd heat up that differently. I dont know about the DIY stuff but the stuff we did at my shop came in different colors including white which might be better.

This is why I bolted in the bedliner on the Ram 50. It hooked on the front rail of the cab, and two bolts at the back by the tailgate.
